FAMILY WEALTH PLANNING PARTNERS regularly hosts workshops.  The events typically begin with a 30-minute presentation by one or more of the firm's divorce financial analysts, followed by a 30-minute Q&A session.  Light refreshments are served, and there is an opportunity for one-on-one conversations with the speakers, as well as others who attend the workshop.

NAVIGATING YOUR DIVORCE WITH DIGNITY:
A Workshop to Address Mid to Late-Life Divorce Issues*
Discussing the Unique Financial, Legal and Emotional Challenges Involved in Untangling the Tapestry of Your Marriage...

When you are contemplating separation or divorce from your spouse, a large part of the stress comes from the financial uncertainty involved in any break up.  Using a 3-pronged holistic approach, we will address the following issues...

  • How do you know how much alimony or child support you will be entitled to, or have to pay?
  • How do you calculate how much you will need in order to maintain your lifestyle and support your family at the same time?
  • What are the short-term and long-term impacts of different types of settlement options?
  • How expensive is matrimonial litigation and what alternatives are available?

Presenters:
IVY MENCHEL, certified divorce financial analyst
ANDREA VACCA, matrimonial lawyer
KAREN McMAHON, divorce coach
